Can you tell us about your business?

Rosetone Event Hire Services is a family run business since 1987 and is based along the borders of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, we now service the events and hospitality industries throughout the UK and Europe, our clients include the Langham Hotel, the Carlon Towers Hotel, the Natural History Museum, the fashion designer Tom Ford and the Brighton Ball Room.

And what made you decide to get a new website?

Due to the severity and the length of the current recession, we felt it was essential to be proactive in getting our Company profile as far afield as possible. Our previous website was dated and dysfunctional, so we contacted a few web design companies including BT and were so impressed by their ideas that we decided to go with them.

What results have you got from the new website?

Since the new web site has launched we have received a regular increase in traffic by over 80%, this is monitored by Google analytics, showing in a Sales Turnover increase of over 38%, quite stunning. The thing that has delighted me, even more than seeing the site live, is the simplicity in being able to change and update my web site myself.

I'm delighted I chose BT for our web design, so much so that I also bought a training bundle with them, helping me via a telephone call each month, to monitor and run my own SEO. This has proved invaluable in keeping our Company at the top of the Search Engine for our business sector, using keywords and site linking to ensure we remain highly ranked and our appointed BT Search Consultant keeps coming up with brilliant ideas for this.

Would you recommend BT for Website Design?

Most definitely – and I do, every day!

What did you think of your day filming your testimonial?

The filming day was such fun! The BT film crew and team were very helpful and encouraging throughout, we all had such a good time.

Do you have any advice for other businesses thinking about getting a website?

My advice for anyone thinking of getting a website would be to stop thinking and start preparing. Imagine you are a potential customer and think of what you would like to see first and make your website interesting, colourful and inviting (and obviously informative too!)
